1) The pitch.
2) A reflection on the feedback you received from your last pitch.
Most of the feedback I received was excellent. I had two people encourage my idea of the portable charger, and how they were interested, and one person offered constructive criticism. After reading the constructive criticism, I saw what I needed to work on, and worked on changing it in this time around. I believe that all of the comments on my post were informative, and helped me deliver a much better presentation this time around.
3) What did you change, based on the feedback?
Some thing I tried to work on in this elevator pitch was my presentation. I knew I had solid content, but needed to get that information across in a much more receivable manor. I tried to calm down and slow my pace, while also relating more towards the target audience. By talking through an example while also giving specific on how to present my idea, I believe I improved on this elevator pitch, but still have work to do.
Christian, I thought your elevator pitch was even better than last time. I liked how you worked on it to accommodate to the feedback. I also thought the presentation side of the assignment was the hardest part to execute. I have trouble with selling products, and I see that it wasn't your favorite part either. However, I think you did a good job this time.
ReplyDeleteHey Christian,
ReplyDeleteI love your idea, but you need to nail the opening, I think this the most important and personal part. I didn't really connect to you, which a big part of a pitch. Let your personality shine through, it can be the difference between a sold product and a dead company. These are people, logos, pathos, egos sell to them.

ReplyDeleteHey Christian, I still love this idea because if I could actually have a magical charger like this I would use it everyday. As for the pitch, it did flow better than the last one and it seemed like you tried a bit harder. I liked the examples you used like when you mentioned reading out of the textbook in class. You can really feel the need to have one of these chargers after that vividly painted mental picture. Overall, great job!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I didn't mean to delete my other comment lol
