Finally: Reflect. This experience requires you to do a little 'targeted networking.' How will this experience shape how you participate in any future networking events? Did this experience differ from your networking experiences in the past? How?
This experience was very fruitful, as I was forced to reach out to others within my industry and gather information for my product. It was important for me to make these connections, and this assignment made sure that i connected with others who could help me. In the future, I will definitely hope to reach out to people who know about the industry. This experience did not differ from any previous networking I had done.
I agree that this assignment was very fruitful. It was a hands-on real world experience that will help me in years to come because connections are always helpful, especially in the business world. I thought it was cool how you got to interview some of your peers at UF. It's nice to have input from people who understand where you are coming from.
ReplyDeleteChristian,
ReplyDeleteReading through all of your choices, I feel like they all fit pretty well. I think it was a really good choice to speak with a preview staffer also, since they can affect most of the freshman coming onto campus and that's a huge market. As far as your reflections on the assignment go, I agree with you that it was definitely a helpful experience to go through especially considering from here on out many of the stakes could be higher in interviews should you continue forward with your product. Good post!
